Capsule Monarch®
AMT's new Capsule Monarch® Transshaping Gastrostomy Tube is a pre-loaded
replacement feeding device designed for ease of insertion into a well
established stoma tract. The Monarch's slender profile minimizes the
force necessary for insertion, therefore reducing trauma to the stoma
site.
Once inserted into the stoma, a simple pull on the suture release
unwraps the unique internal bolster. This positions the bolster inside
the stomach wall, maintaining a low profile and providing increased
durability and retention. The Capsule Monarch® will deliver nutrition and medication,
and allow for decompression of the stomach.
