The MiniONE® Balloon Button has truly been life-changing for our little guy. Since he is NPO, it has been so much more comfortable and manageable for him than having an NG tube. Because it is small and sits flush against his belly, he barely notices it, doesn’t pull at it, and it doesn’t interfere with his daily activities at all.
At just 13 months old, he is constantly exploring, climbing, and getting into everything, and the button has stayed secure through it all without coming out once. Most importantly, it allows him to move freely and continue being a happy, active, and “normal” little baby boy. He can crawl, climb, play, and explore without us constantly worrying about tubing getting pulled or in the way.
Not only has it been easier on him, but it has also made things easier for me and his dad as well. Having to change it only every three months is much more manageable and less stressful for everyone involved. It is so simple and straightforward to place, and we are incredibly thankful our son’s doctor recommended the MiniONE® Balloon Button for him.
