My name is Owen and I’m 9 years old. I’ve had a feeding tube since I was a newborn. I have intestinal failure and I need my tube a lot. For a long time, other tubes didn’t work for me and they made my skin sore and irritated, and it was uncomfortable all the time. Then I got my AMT MiniONE®, and everything changed.
I use my tubie every day and I am super strong and full of energy. I play rec soccer and just made the U10 AAA Northshore Whitecaps team for hockey. I don’t know any other tubies that play in the league I’m in. 
I don’t have to worry about my tube getting in the way or hurting because it’s just part of my body when I play sports.
I’m proud of everything I can do, and I know my tubie helps me. I also get to teach my teammates about fun medical stuff.
